Totem Project

So the next college brief I have been working on is based on totems. Like the Native North American tribes, I have been asked to invent 6 characters that will accompany me and my family throughout life.

The 6 characters are to represent:

1. A hope

2. A fear

3. A secret

4. A strength

5. A weakness

6. An alter ego

I have been thinking about how such things can be presented. perhaps as symbols? Each word as a small collection of images? A character?

Maybe a photograph can be incorporated?

The tricky part is how to morph them into one another and arrange them as a totem, this is what I am working on at the moment.
