8 x 8 Live Brief

The time has come for the annual 8 x 8 Live Brief collaboration with creative writing students from MMU. 8 students have written short stories, and 2 illustrators have been assigned to illustrate each one. They will then be "brought together in a publication, which will be launched this year at either Didsbury art festival 2012 0r Manchester literature festival (still to be confirmed)”

I have been teamed with Laura Brown who has written a story title ‘As It Was’. This story tackles the difficult issue of loosing someone you love, it is about fate and how it is so easy to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Perhaps if they hadn’t have done this or they’d have done that, they would still be here……But As It Was….
