Here are some close ups of the totem cushion so far.....
Every line will be defined by a shape cut out from fabric or by stitching. The little house and the family took a long time to do on the sewing machine, but it was worth it. I have 3 pieces that I am working on at the same time so that I can find the best way to piece everything together. At first I found that all the images within the totem felt isolated, but they are starting to come together now (Still using the NCC image for inspiration). The small amount of paint added to the image transfers really helped.
