I just thought I would post an update on the work I have been creating for Howkapow. I have created two illustrations, one to be screen printed on to a circular tray, and the other is for a mug. I have just received feedback from the company this afternoon, and it seems as though they are pleased with my designs. They said that the design for the tray was “strong with good use of bold lines against textures”, and that they would like the mug design to be blown up a little bigger so detail is not lost as well as make it as strong as the tray design.
Luckily the mug illustration was still at a rough stage and I had thought that I may need to make it bigger, so these are things that were already in my mind.
